These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TETA+PI — the verification platform operated by TetaPi GmbH, Frankfurt am Main, Germany ("we", "us", "TetaPi"). By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
TETA+PI is a verification registry that enables entities (businesses, journalists, artists, and other registered entities) to obtain a cryptographically verifiable identity profile. Our services include:
To register, you must provide accurate information about yourself and the entity you represent. You must have authority to bind the entity to these Terms. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
TETA+PI performs verification by querying official third-party registries. We do not independently audit every piece of data returned by those registries. Verification confirms that an entity exists and is registered as of the time of query — it does not constitute a guarantee of the entity's current business practices, financial standing, or legal compliance.
Registry data may occasionally be outdated or incorrect. If you believe a verification record is inaccurate, contact us at hello@tetapi.dev.
Verified entity profiles are publicly accessible via the TETA+PI API and search. This includes your entity name, type, trust level, and registry reference. By completing verification, you authorise this public display. You may request removal of your profile at any time, subject to Section 8 (Bitcoin timestamps).
You may not use TETA+PI to:
Violation of these rules may result in immediate account termination and reporting to relevant authorities.
API access is subject to rate limits published at api.tetapi.dev/docs. Commercial use of the API beyond the free tier requires a paid plan. We reserve the right to modify rate limits and pricing with 30 days' notice.
Verification timestamps committed to the Bitcoin blockchain are permanent and cannot be deleted. Requesting removal of your entity profile from TETA+PI will remove it from our systems and API responses, but the Bitcoin transaction remains on the public blockchain indefinitely.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TetaPi GmbH is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of TETA+PI. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
TETA+PI is provided "as is". We do not warrant uninterrupted availability or that verification results are error-free.
These Terms are governed by German law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Frankfurt am Main, Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email and/or by posting a notice at tetapi.dev at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use of TETA+PI after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
